For the first day in Park Muskau, we explore the second itinerary, which has a changeable topography. We rode our bikes up and down the hills and valleys. The interesting topography along the second itinerary provided us a chance to have the aerial view of the castle and surrounding gardens and buildings. Combined our first onsite experience of Park Muskau and the exhibition in the castle, we have a strong sense of how Puckler's travel experience influence the design and the change of the park over time.
By riding up the hill, the topography provided us a chance to have the aerial view of Park Muskau and the surrounding villages. The picturesque overview of the park provides us a clear layout of the castle, the pleasure ground, the corridors between the canopies, the relationship with the river and island.
