Park Muskau is filled with sounds. In the area surrounding the castles, one can hear birds, insects, and the occasional water riffle. When one moves, the sound of crunching gravel or acorns underfoot change the soundscape. Along itinerary 1a, the water sounds become dominant in areas of "arrival"-- when a significant view or space has been reached.
