Welcome to The Cultural Landscape of Birdwood, the website for ARH 5611. 

For two summers, UVA students have explored the history of the Birdwood Plantation using a wide range of modes of inquiry to research, analyze, and interpret the cultural landscape of this property, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The offical Pedagogy is referenced here.
